Research Associate

Wyatt is a Research Associate at The Exchange and a dual-degree graduate student at Georgia Institute of Technology, pursuing a Master’s of Environmental Engineering and a Master’s of Business Administration. As a research associate, Wyatt supports the organization’s programmatic strategy and impact through research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Originally from Washington, D.C., and Jamaica, Wyatt brings experience as a sustainability consultant, supporting Fortune 500 companies, including consumer goods companies, global tech companies, and retailers, in implementing climate action goals aligned with corporate sustainability goals.

Wyatt is an active researcher within the Social Equity and Environmental Engineering Lab and the Center for Sustainable Communities Research and Education at Georgia Tech. In his research, Wyatt leads teams to identify, benchmark, and implement equitable sustainable development programs aimed at accelerating a circular economy, the just energy transition, sustainable workforce development, and institutional decarbonization. His research has been published in journals such as Nature Scientific Reports and the Journal of Science Policy and Governance.

Prior to attending graduate school, Wyatt worked as an engineer and consultant with Gershman, Brickner & Bratton Inc., implementing more sustainable solid waste management systems for various public and private clients. Wyatt received his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry at Washington University in St. Louis. Outside of his professional life, you can find Wyatt playing board games, spending time with his family, cooking whatever is in the fridge, or attempting to find peace in nature.
