Director of Finance and Administration

Elizabeth Verostek is the Director of Finance and Administration at The Exchange. She leads the organization’s financial operations and administrative functions, including oversight of various operational areas, including finance, budgeting and accounting, human resources, information technology, procurement, and space management.

Elizabeth has nearly two decades of experience in finance and operations. She spent over ten years at the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), most recently as the organization’s Deputy Chief Financial Officer. During her time at NYCEDC, Elizabeth helped to advance large-scale, priority initiatives including Willets Point, LifeSci NYC, Coastal Resiliency, and NYC Ferry.

Elizabeth also previously worked in the public sector and in research. During the Bloomberg Administration, she worked for New York City’s Department of Education and Office of Management and Budget. She’s also held positions at the Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY), RAND, and the World Bank.

Elizabeth holds a Master’s degree from the George Washington University in policy, focusing on education policy. Her bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and religious studies are from the College of Charleston.
